It’s that time of year again! This will be my 6th year participating in the St. Baldrick’s Shave-a-thon to help raise money for Childhood Research! Every year is a great time with great people, and lots of freshly shiny domes! Give the link a click and if you have anything you can spare, even a simple dollar, it is greatly appreciated!

National Day of Action – Stop This Madness

A few years back I had a brief run in the local music scene as a promoter/MC. I had the opportunity to work with artists and musicians from across the state and host some wild gigs!
The above video is by one such artist, Jeremy Dudley, or “Origin”. He is a teacher, a father, and a very talented hip-hop artist. His song, “Stop This Madness” is directed toward the mess that our current education system is in.

This is the first post to the “Philanthropy” catagory, and hopefully it will be far from my last. For this entry, I’ll be discussing my adventures in the St. Baldrick’s Shave-a-thons. The first question you would logically have is, “Saint who? Shave-a-wha!?!?”
