As I stated on my twitter, I have officially moved my C3 WiR(e) weekly gaming news update to SportsRants.com. There, it will recieve all the love from an established sporting community and a bit of air time on the Anthony DiMoro show!
If anyone else reading this is interested in blogging on Sports Rants as well, we could use some more activity in the Gaming section, and of course any form of sports you could follow!
It’s that time of year again! This will be my 6th year participating in the St. Baldrick’s Shave-a-thon to help raise money for Childhood Research! Every year is a great time with great people, and lots of freshly shiny domes! Give the link a click and if you have anything you can spare, even a simple dollar, it is greatly appreciated!
Disclaimer: I realize I don’t have much hair to shave, but we like to play it off as, “Anthony will go first so the clippers won’t get dulled immediately!”
In the video, Seth is my little cousin down in AZ. Yes, this vid is several years old and this is for the Ronald McDonald House, but it’s importance still rings true.
Incase you haven’t heard, the interwebs just exploded with news of Microsoft essentially doing everything that everyone has nerd-raged about over the past month or so. Essentially, the breakdown of the whole deal is that games will operate exactly as the currently do on the Xbox 360, and they completely abandoned the Online check-in.
The only downside to this would be that some of the legitimately cool features of the family sharing will now probably be lost, since in order to play a game the disc will have to be in the unit itself.
But alas, internet nerd rage has spoken, and the consumer receives what it demands!
Posted today over at Game-Insider.com, a 2.5hr Podcast of what’s been going down at the E3 Convention, which wrapped up today. Take a listen at what these guys have seen and experienced in the past week at gaming’s biggest convention. They go over all the details that you’ll need to know about the next-gen consoles and a detailed look at a broad range of games and what they will be bringing to your tv!
Next week, I’ll be getting posting up a few “Aftermath” posts to recap all the action, and also a few follow-up posts to trailers that have already been reviewed.
Listen, enjoy, get your pre-orders in, and come back for the next series of posts!
I was just on the Rantin’ & Ravin’ Show discussing the Xbox One Reveal!
The Rantin’ & Ravin’ Show is the live internet radio show for the Sports Rants website. Typically, the show is dedicated to Sports talk, but this week the host decided to have me on to discuss the console and how it will impact sports fans. I touched on the integration of the console with your live TV and sports, the NFL agreement, and tracking your fantasy team. Unfortunately, it was a short segment so there was NO WAY we could cover everything. But to catch up on what all went down, here’s my write up and here’s IGN’s console comparison.
